There’s a lot to love about Houston, TX. It’s my hometown so maybe I’m a little biased. If you are moving to Houston, pay attention to this page. I will be updating this page with a list of benefits and a few recommendations for you!
With Houston being the 4th largest city in the nation, there’s a place for people from all walks of life. Housing and employment opportunities are bountiful and the cost of living is much more inviting compared to the cost to live in other cities such as Los Angeles and New York.
Houston is known for its “Southern Hospitality”, therefore the people are welcoming and receptive of all. The world witnessed the citizens of Houston ban together during Hurricane Harvey, and other similar events that immobilized our city and surrounding areas. Houstonians are absolutely AWESOME! (that’s coming from a native Houstonian!)
Employment opportunities are also great! There are many corporations that are based in Houston, or may have expanded to Houston. Companies are now absorbing relocation expenses, so why not take advantage of the opportunity to transfer and call Houston home! Your home can be in a nice loft, condo, mid-rise, or high-rise in the heart of downtown; or you can live in a beautiful master-planned community in the many wonderful suburbs in the city or surrounding areas.
The sites and attractions are excellent. There are many forms of entertainment for all ages. Houston is home to great museums, Hermann Park, Galleria Mall, NASA and so much more. And while in Houston…Galveston and Kemah are short drives away.
Houston is home of the Texas Medical Center, prestigious universities such as Baylor College of Medicine, University of Texas Medical School, Rice, and Houston Baptist University just to name a few.
Houston is a haven for sports fans and state of the art stadiums for our Rockets, Texans, Astros, and Dynamos!
